Born in Bogota in 1998, Tatiana Russi Soto is a Colombian artist based in Milan, Italy. Where she finished her studies with 110 cum laude with a scholarship at the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA) as a Visual Artist and Painter. From a young age, she developed her passion for the arts, dance, and theater. At eighteen, she participated in two group exhibitions in her hometown.
In 2021, she held her first group exhibition in Milan, entitled SINAPSI, with seven young artists. In 2022 she participated in an art event in Milan and a group exhibition in Rome, entitled (Im)Possible Ecologies. Place where she was able to show her current research that develops around the understanding of Colombian identity as a woman in today's society.
Through exploratory research between new technologies and graphics, in conjunction with more traditional media, the artist seeks to understand the current dynamics in opposition to the imposed stereotypes, seeing it from a feminine, anthropological, and historical point of view.
